Use of Cookies and Other Ad Technologies

Cookies. The Site uses "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize One for the World pages, or register with the Site or services, a cookie helps One for the World to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same Site, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the customized features of One for the World.

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the services provided by One for the World or the websites you visit.

Do-Not-Track Signals. The do-not-track signal is a privacy preference that users can set in certain web browsers. The Site recognizes do-not-track signals sent by your browser. To learn more or to enable do-not-track signals for your browser, please visit https://termsfeed.com/do-not-track.

Third Party Digital Marketing Platforms. One for the World works with third party digital marketing platforms such as Google Ads. These digital marketing platforms use tracking technologies to advertise One for the World organization across the Internet. These digital marketing platforms (a) will display ads to you based on what parts of the thelifeyoucansave.org website you have viewed by placing a cookie or other ad targeting technology on your web browser; and (b) may not recognize do-not-track signals. Please see the relevant privacy policies, using the link above, for opt out procedure. In the event we change third party digital marketing platforms, we will update this Statement to reflect the change.

Security of your Personal Information

One for the World secures the Personal Information you provide on computer servers located in the United States, which servers are in a controlled, secure environment, reasonably protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When Personal Information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

While we make reasonably diligent efforts to secure your Personal Information, there is no perfect security that is impenetrable from hackers and thieves. In the very unlikely event we believe that the security of your information in the possession or control of One for the World may have been compromised and if notification is appropriate, we may notify you using the information you submitted to us.

Third Party Links

One for the World encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to link to from One for the World so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. One for the World is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of One for the World, or for any other sites One for the World may add to the Site in the future.
