Our Nonprofit Partners
Our Nonprofit Partners
We have partnered with GiveWell, an independent nonprofit evaluator, to compile a list of recommended nonprofit organizations based on extensive research and analysis. You can read more from GiveWell about how they determine the most effective organizations and programs here.

Against Malaria Foundation
Distributes long-lasting insecticide-treated bed nets to prevent malaria transmission. Nets are highly effective at protecting against mosquitos. Each bed net costs US$5.19. We estimate that Against Malaria Foundation can avert a death for just $5,000.
New Incentives
Provides cash transfers to incentivize caregivers to bring babies to clinics for routine childhood vaccinations. It costs around US$160 to vaccinate an infant fully, half of which is funded by local government.
Malaria Consortium’s Chemoprevention Program
Distributes preventive anti-malarial drugs to children 3-59 months old in order to prevent illness and death from malaria during peak seasons of malaria transmission. A full course of anti-malarial treatment costs just US$6.93 and can reduce incidences of malaria by over 60%.
Helen Keller International’s Vitamin A Supplementation Program
Provides critical nutrition via direct Vitamin A supplementation to at-risk children around the world to prevent blindness and mortality. A supplement costs just US$1 and studies suggest that supplements significantly reduce child mortality from vitamin-A deficiency, and also boost the immuno-response to a range of lethal diseases.
GiveWell All Grants Fund
For donors who want to contribute to the full range of GiveWell’s grantmaking, this Fund may grant to any program that meets GiveWell’s cost-effectiveness bar, including those outside their top charities. The All Grants Fund is a good fit for donors who are open to multiple pathways to impact, including ones that are higher risk. Grants are made on a rolling basis.
Where the One for the World Top Picks Operate
Even though many of our non-profits work across numerous countries and regions (see map to the left), their frontline work is rooted in local, on-the-ground operations. Our nonprofit partners and their evaluators go to great lengths to ensure that treatments and interventions are as beneficial as possible to the communities they serve and are delivered in close partnership with local governments, NGOs, and communities.
